Accelerating the Growth of a Hybrid-Ready Workforce in India

WeWork “on-demand for consumers” and “on-demand for businesses”. Details

The year 2022 has seen the inevitable transition of businesses to a hybrid work model as the pandemic has broken down the silos of a traditional work setup.

With the shifting scenario of the workplace, organizations today are trying to retain the vestiges of an on-premises work setup with the employee experience at its core.

Notably, this emergence of a hybrid working culture has given rise to the need for a flexible office setup, a working model that is gaining prominence in India even before the pandemic.

However, there has been a significant shift in how people view workspaces over the past few years.

As we all reimagine the future of work, flexible workspaces like WeWork India have been instrumental in rapidly dedensifying workspaces for businesses.

This has allowed companies to effectively adapt to social distancing norms and employees to effectively synchronize their work.

For example, in 2020, WeWork India launched WeWork On-Demand, a daily pass allowing an individual to book (pay for) day access to certain buildings on a microsite with a single click.

By opting for this pass, individuals and businesses can benefit from the flexibility and customization features which, in turn, can help their employees reduce travel time.

The day pass also helps increase productivity by ensuring a better work-life balance with spaces in prime locations.

It is already one of the most successful product offerings among members and has much more to offer to support a hybrid-ready workforce in India.

Let’s read how:

Enabling social infrastructure

A well-established social infrastructure is essential for every human being. Considering that they spend a lot of time at work, their office mainly fulfills this need.

With a well-spread presence across 40 locations across six cities in India, WeWork On-Demand caters to everyone’s work-from-home needs due to WeWork’s proximity to members’ homes. It is also a primary demand driver apart from the inherently flexible nature of the product.

By providing co-working spaces, meeting spaces, lounges, and recreation spaces, On-Demand has built and maintained a healthy social infrastructure for members at work.

Other than that, members can access conference rooms and parking (at an additional cost), have constant support from the community team, network with other members, and access events. They can also enjoy unlimited high-speed Wi-Fi and unlimited access to coffee and tea.

Whether you want to hold interviews, collaborate with your team of 2 or 20, impress your clients or develop ideas, our conference rooms are perfect for meetings of any size or purpose.

For example, with On-Demand, you can reserve a conference room for you or your team by the hour in any of our prime locations.

On top of that, our community team shares great camaraderie with all members. It is available at their full disposal, meeting their needs and guaranteeing an excellent member experience.

Even when it comes to networking, WeWork is a place where you can connect with people from different industries.

So don’t be surprised if you meet your next co-founder or client over a cup of coffee on your break!

To meet the needs of consumers and B2C businesses, WeWork has launched two products – “On demand for consumers” and “On demand for businesses”, with offers such as Day Pass, Day Pass Bundles and conference rooms.

With day pass, employees can enjoy the flexibility of working in the WeWork building of their choice with no upfront commitment.

One can work from a productive workspace for a day from any of our 40 locations across six cities. This pass allows office customers access to the buildings from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. (11 a.m.).

One of On-Demand’s rapidly evolving offerings is the “Daily pass packages”, which allows people to buy/plan the week in the place of their choice with a 5/10 day pass in an apartment at 10% discount.

Thus, they can use the passes at almost even volumes when purchased once at the beginning of the week.

A time saver, day passes are also amazing for taking advantage of pass credits for all team members.

A very different offer, “On demand for businesses”includes a personalized microsite accessible only to employees of the company concerned.

This service allows employees to seamlessly book workspace, conference rooms, parking and other amenities, making the flexible and collaborative workspace experience more accessible.

Encourage positive employee behavior

Employees have become more positive and receptive to the hybrid work culture due to the flexible nature of WeWork On-Demand.

They find it easier to choose a location closer to home. Many companies have also transitioned back to work as the new normal. There was a slight increase in the adoption of On-Demand.

Since its launch, many companies have signed up, with new companies signing up every month.
