Darren Criss, best known for his roles in Joy and American crime story, revealed what he thinks is the worst song ever to appear on Fox’s iconic song and dance show.
Join the LadyGang podcast, hosted by a colleague Joy star Becca Tobin, Jac Vanek and Keltie Knight, Criss first said it was “too difficult” because “there are too many options to choose from.”
After a few pushes from the hosts, he said, “There’s one that’s conventionally understood to be ‘a huge f ** k oops’.”
However, Criss added that he “enjoyed” because he “thought it was so absurd”, and Tobin immediately guessed which song Criss was referring to: “The Fox” by Ylvis, which they had. performed in season five.

Fans and cast members have criticized the number over the years as JoyIt’s worse. In the episode, Criss’ character Blaine apologizes to the Glee club for being too bossy before giving them puppet versions of themselves to perform the song.
âIt was so weird. It was one of those 15 minutes of fame for this song and they just decided to put it on the show,â Criss continued.
âI had fun because it was ridiculous, but we were so deep into the showâ¦ we were so raved about the absurdity of this one. The more absurd it is, the funnier it is for me.â
He added: “So I’m sure there were people like, ‘What is this?’ and I was like, ‘I know, don’t I ?!’ “

JoyThe characters have covered over 700 songs over six seasons, and there are strong opinions on both sides as to which song is best or worst performed.
Although Criss rose to fame thanks to Joy, his career does not end there, since he will appear later in Flash and The assassination of Gianni Versace: the history of American crime, for which he received an Emmy and a Golden Globe.
He is also a prolific Broadway actor, and is known by Harry potter fans for his production of A very pottery musical while he was in college.
