Cable Group says 6GHz broadcasters’ concerns ‘easily’ resolved

By Christopher Cole (May 27, 2022, 6:11 p.m. EDT) – A cable company told the Federal Communications Commission that the agency can “easily allay” broadcast industry concerns that the government is considering Allowing unlicensed devices in the 6 GHz band could disrupt some information gathering operations.

NCTA-The Internet & Television Association said in comments released Thursday that while the DC Circuit wants the commission to take a closer look at possible broadcast interference triggered by opening the band up for new uses, that issue is ” very close” and urged the agency to resolve it quickly.
