Kenny Chesney and Jimmy Buffett perform in Charlotte on the same day, and fans don’t want to choose between their shows.

Country music star Chesney and Margaritaville legend Jimmy Buffett performed in Charlotte on April 30 at Bank of America Stadium and PNC Music Pavilion respectively.

  • Driving the News: Tickets for Chesney’s show go on sale to the general public this Friday, November 12, and some people aren’t sure which beach vibe to choose.

Why is this important: As fan Jillian Goetz told Axios via email, it’s No Shoes Nation vs. Parrot Heads, but what if you two are?

  • She and her husband have had their Buffett tickets since before the pandemic.
  • “I feel like I have to be true to these tickets because they’ve been rescheduled about 4 times,” Jillian told Axios. “It’s a decision I never thought I would have to make – why should you ever have to choose between Jimmy and Kenny?” “
  • His perfect solution would be the rescheduling of Chesney’s team, since Buffett’s concert was rescheduled five times.

My thought bubble: Jillian, we appreciate your trust in our newsroom to convince the Chesney team to reschedule their gig. Kenny, if you’re reading this, you’d make Jillian’s day if you could reschedule.

If you really want it you can try both.

  • Chesney starts at 5 p.m.
  • Buffett starts at 8 p.m.
  • Jillian and her husband are first parents, their son was born on October 1 and they considered trying to attend both concerts, only to find out that the concerts were on the same night.
  • “I’m sure you can understand the horror I felt upon learning that these two country / beach power stations were on the same night. But can we attend both concerts? she said to Axios.

Crazy thoughtsshe said, crossed her mind.

  • “To heat a car between Cabin Crew Members and BOA and crash into Jimmy’s first half and Kenny’s second half ?? Is that a logistical nightmare? So many questions about such an important decision. And I thought my only decisions these days would be to keep our one month old son alive.
  • What do you think Jillian should do?

Tickets starting at $ 37 for Buffett and $ 80 for Chesney.

To note : COVID-19 precautions will be in place.

  • To attend Buffett’s concert, you must have a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours or be fully immunized and receive your second injection two weeks before the concert. A negative COVID-19 test must be provided for children under the age of 12 within 72 hours of the concert. Masks will be encouraged.
  • Masks will be mandatory inside the 300 and 400 levels at Bank of America Stadium.

My thought bubble: I am listening to Buffett’s Cheeseburger in Paradise as I write this. 🎶 “When I am in port, I get what I need.” ??
