On today’s edition of Up To Speed, host Raquel Wilson shared the following updates:

‘O’ my: Discover Cirque du Soleil
Have you dreamed of seeing the breathtaking Cirque du Soleil show, where art meets art and circus? Thanks to the power of Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband, you can now experience an augmented reality Snapchat filter inspired by Cirque du Soleil’s famous “O” performance. Snapchatters will be transported to an underwater world with the show’s iconic images and characters appearing in the palm of their hands. The experience culminates in inviting Snapchatters to enter the realm of “O” as they transform into one of the series’ most identifiable and expressive characters.
An insider’s take on the Oscars
You won’t want to miss the Oscars this Sunday, especially if you’re a Verizon customer. With Verizon’s 5G Ultra Pass, you can explore exclusive 360-degree backstage and red carpet views, and you can stay connected throughout the show by voting on all the best moments for a chance to win prizes.
Up To Speed’s Adi Wineland paid a visit to Oscar’s Hollywood home, the Dolby Theater, this week. He spoke with Verizon’s Jaclyn Lazarus, Senior Systems Architect Engineer, who discussed how 5G Ultra Wideband technology is shaping this ultimate fan experience.

First C-band adapter
Verizon announces a new partnership with Cradlepoint to deliver enterprise 5G wireless solutions over our 5G Ultra Wideband, an important milestone for Verizon’s 5G fixed wireless access strategy. Cradlepoint is the first adapter to be certified for Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband network.
The new service will use Cradlepoint’s W1850 5G Broadband Adapter to provide C-band spectrum connectivity on Verizon’s 5G ultra-wideband network.
Extended relief from Ukraine
If you’re in Boston, you’ll see our Verizon hub building adorned with beautiful blue and yellow lights, a symbol of our support for those affected by the situation in Ukraine. We are also extending our calls, texts and data in Ukraine, Hungary, Moldova, Poland, Romania and Slovakia until March 31.
You can text to donate to UNICEF, the Salvation Army and the International Rescue Committee. And check out the Citizen Verizon Volunteer Portal to see how you can help.
Don’t forget that this Saturday is Earth Hour! Citizen Verizon is challenging us all to turn off our lights from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. ET. If you want to take it a step further, plant a tree in your yard, ride a bike instead of driving, or eat vegan for a day (perhaps if you’re not already doing one or more of these things). Whatever you do, share it with the Citizen Verizon team by tagging @Verizon and using #IAMVZ and #SeizeTheHour as hashtags. Sign up and find out more details.
