For the third day of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, a spectacular – to say the least – outdoor concert took place outside Buckingham Palace, which saw musical legends such as Diana Ross, Sir Rod Stewart and Queen perform.

Among the 22,000 people who gathered to celebrate Her Majesty’s 70 years on the throne and watch the party unfold, there were four very royal VIPs who secured the best seats in the house, of course. Although the Queen herself was unable to attend due to mobility issues, we saw the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on her behalf alongside two of their three children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte , who all enjoyed the show.

Here’s how they reacted to the Queen’s surprise virtual appearance in her incredible skit with Paddington Bear:

As sweet as it was, it was another adorable moment between Kate Middleton and her daughter Charlotte that had royal fans Oh and ahhh.

British rock band Queen and singer Adam Lambert, who has been touring with the band since 2011, opened the #PlatinumPartyatthePalace. The group sang some of their best-known anthems, including “We Will Rock You” and “We Are the Champions”, but Kate and Charlotte’s favorite seemed to be “Don’t Stop Me Now”.

Now, I don’t know about you, but I’m not sure many other seven-year-olds know the lyrics to a 70s classic. Kate and Will, we salute you for teaching Charlotte well.
