Kangana Ranaut unveils Milind Soman’s first look as Sam Manekshaw in Emergency; fan says, ‘boycott bollywood but you have to…’

The cast of Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency has grown with the addition of Milind Soman, who will play Sam Manekshaw, a veteran of the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War.
Kangana revealed Milind’s first look from the film on Instagram. Milind can be seen in the photo wearing a uniform and sporting Sam Manekshaw’s signature mustache.

Kangana shared the photo with the caption, “Featuring the dynamic @milindrunning as #SamManekshaw, the man who helped save India’s borders during the Indo-Pakistani War and whose service was as distinguished as his honesty; a charmer, a war hero and a visionary #Emergency leader.”

Milind also shares the first look writing, “Honored to be part of the #Emergency director of @kanganaranaut and to play the role of Sam Manekshaw, the man who with his wit and bravery led India to victory in Indochina in 1971″. Pak War!”

Fans were quick to flood the comments section. One wrote, “The cast looks so promising,” while another commented, “When you know the right person for your movie, you are a real queen my mama kangana ranaut. “

Several Emergency characters have already seen their first looks revealed by Kangana. In the film, Shreyas Talpade will portray the late Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Kangana will portray the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Mahima Chaudhry will be seen as Indira Gandhi’s cultural activist and confidante, Pupul Jayakar, while Anupam will portray revolutionary leader JP Narayan.
