The Romanian KPMG Energy Deal Advisory team acted as sole financial advisor to Monsson, Romania’s leading developer of renewable energy projects, in the sale of the largest solar project development in Europe, with an authorized capacity of 1 044 MW, to Rezolv Energy, an energy leader in the CEECs. transition platform supported by €500 million in funding from Actis, one of the world’s leading investors in sustainable infrastructure.
Monsson is Romania’s most successful renewable energy project developer, with a strong reputation and considerable experience dating back many years. The KPMG team supported Monsson every step of the way, from the initial identification of potential investors to the closing of the transaction.
