The OnePlus 9RT debuted in China in October 2021 and after three long months, the device has finally started its global rollout.
The first leg of its global expansion is India, where OnePlus announced the flagship and begins sales on January 17.
The OnePlus 9RT comes with a Snapdragon 888 chipset and a 6.62-inch AMOLED display. The brand offers the phone with 8/128GB or 12/256GB memory, and there is no microSD slot for additional storage. There is a larger heat sink inside the device, increasing heat dissipation by 20% compared to that of the OnePlus 9.
Prices are INR 42,999 ($580) and INR 46,999 ($635), and the 9RT can be purchased in Silver and Black colors. OnePlus India is offering incentives such as INR 4,000 ($54) instant cashback on select bank cards, 50% off on select cases, and an additional INR 4,000 bonus with the trade-in of another OnePlus phone.
OnePlus Buds Z2 (not to scale)
Along with the phone’s arrival in India came the OnePlus Buds Z2 true wireless earbuds. While they cost $99/€99 in the US and Europe, customers in the Asian country can pick them up for INR 4,999 or $67.
The launch also brought discounts of INR 500 ($6.70) which will last until January 26. The OnePlus Band costs just INR 999 ($13.50), while the Wireless Bullets Z Bass edition will be INR 1,499 ($20) from Monday.
