Realme has just unveiled a new wearable. Called Realme Band 2, the device was launched in Malaysia and it is not yet clear if or when it will make its way to Indian shores. However, given that the predecessor of the device was launched in the country, it should eventually make it to Indian shores.
Realme Band 2: Specifications
The laptop sports a 1.4 inch color screen, which is much larger than the 0.96 inch screen of the first Realme Band. It offers a resolution of 167x320p and a maximum brightness of 500 nits. It also offers over 50 dials to choose from, as well as the ability to swap out the straps as needed.
On the back of the device is an optical heart rate monitor used for 24/7 heart rate monitoring. The laptop also offers users the ability to monitor blood oxygen levels. In fact, Realme claims that the Band 2 is capable of tracking over 90 activities. These include yoga, outdoor walks, cycling, cricket, basketball and more. In addition, the device is water resistant to 50m, which means that it should be able to easily survive dives in the pool.
The Realme Band 2 can also be used to track sleep. Realme also claims that users can expect 12 days of battery life on a single charge. As with most other Realme portable devices, the portable device can be used to control other Realme AIoT devices such as the recently launched Realme Buds Air 2.
Realme Band 2: Availability and price
The Realme Band 2 is priced at RM169, or around Rs 2,900 when directly converted. As mentioned earlier, the company has yet to confirm the device’s availability in India, but it should arrive as soon as possible. you can find out more about the device on the Malaysian official page of Realme here.
