India’s Kay Uttech received the Engagement Achievement Award from the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) for her contribution to advancing gender parity in the industry in 2021.
The award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated consistent leadership that has positively impacted member engagement, fostered collaboration, and promoted overall excellence in the pursuit of HBA’s mission.
HBA, whose mission is to help achieve gender parity in leadership positions in healthcare, facilitate business and connections, and help organizations realize the full potential of their female talents, recognized Uttech for its exemplary role in supporting this goal and bringing much more engaged members to the organization.
Uttech began her role on the Southeastern Regional Council of HBA as Regional Director of Membership and Engagement. In this role, she streamlined the volunteer and reward process so that regional council members could follow the process transparently.
